About Oz Curriculum

Founders

Teacher Latifa Elmrini and Web Developer Mohamed Hage-Ali, noticed a gap in the Australian teaching space, where most online resources were either American based platforms, costly, or had Americanised course content that had to be shoehorned or altered to fit the Australian curriculum.

That's how the idea for Oz Curriculum was born: a platform based on both the National and State Curriculum, with free membership and low fee commissions where the hard working teachers of Australia could monetise their hard work while also sharing it with others. Whether its whole lesson plans, class plans, or worksheets, the whole point of Oz Curriculum is to use a collaborative approach that supports teachers in their creative educational pursuits.

Our Mission

Teaching in Australia is a hard enough career choice, and to help our teachers find accurately linked content to our national and state curriculums, we believe creating this hub will give people a central starting point in their own curriculum writing, saving them both time, and lowering stress levels.

We strive to support our teaching community by democratising it and allowing teachers to sell and buy course materials, lesson plans and classroom worksheets in an organic marketplace of ideas.
